Child Development Services

To begin developing a system of service provision that meets the social and emotional needs of preschool children and their families.  The program involves the three key entities in the field - early childhood programs, developmental preschools, and mental health clinicians.  

Children's Advocacy Project

To provide coordinated forensic and comprehensive services for alleged victims of child maltreatment and children who witness violence in order to minimize trauma to children, to break the cycle of abuse and to foster a more effective and efficient community response to child maltreatment.

Climb Wyoming

To train and place low-income single mothers in careers that successfully support their families.

Dine And Discover, Laramie

A community inspired event spearheaded by a group of Albany County residents and organizations to support young children and families in an evening that engages them in a myriad of healthy, family centric activities.  At each event families participate in child centered conversation, share a hot meal together, learn about support provided by community organizations, engage in hands on literacy based activities, receive a book for each child to build the home library and take home food bags that will supplement  the family's nutritional needs. 

Ellbogen Leadership and Advocacy Institute

The Ellbogen Institute for Leadership and Advocacy is designed to develop educational leaders who understand and are able to articulate the complex challenge of educating all children.

Ellbogen Meritorious Schools

Recognition - 20% of teaching staff National Board Certified or 80% participation of teaching staff and principal in one component part of the process.

"Every Child Ready to Read", "Every Child Ready for Math"

Created by the Lee Pesky Learning Center, this booklet provides parents and early childhood educators with easy, fun tips to help children become good readers and good mathematicians. The tips are based on the latest research, and are designed specifically for parents of children ages birth to 5 years old. (These resources are no longer available for distribution).

Fund for Teachers

Dedicated to the prevention of learning disabilities and delays and other neurodevelopmental problems.

Healthy Families, Healthy Children and Student Achievement Grant 

Prevention and Health Literacy. To direct increased attention and resources towards community based programs that would enable and encourage Wyoming citizens to assume more responsibility for their health and fitness throughout life.  Campbell County School District school based Health Clinic.

Provides assistance to those in need - shelter, food, clothing, prescription, transportation, personal care items, medical care, dental care and other support services.

Leadership Wyoming

A family resource center providing education, counseling, and prevention services that build stronger and healthier youth and families. 

Meritorious Classroom Teaching

The intent of these awards is to foster, encourage, and reward excellence in classroom teaching. Awards are granted each spring to teachers in the Natrona County School District.

National Jewish Health

Research for the treatment of Idiopathic Pulmonary Fibrosis, Dr. James Crapo. 

Natrona County International Baccalaureate Program and Meritorious Classroom Teaching

Wyoming National Board Certification Initiative

To strengthen the quality of classroom teaching in Wyoming's public schools by increasing the number of National Board Certified teachers to a level of national leadership. National Board Certification is the highest credential in the teaching profession. It is a rigorous assessment of teacher performance.
