One Word for 2026

As part of our Spring 2026 Board Meeting, we asked each Board and staff member a simple question:

In one word, what do you hope defines the Ellbogen Foundation’s work in 2026?

The responses were thoughtful, varied, and revealing. While no two people chose the same word, together they help paint a picture of how we think about stewardship, opportunity, and service to Wyoming.

Individually, each word reflects a unique perspective. Together, they suggest a shared vision for the year ahead:

In 2026, may the Foundation: 
     Target with discernment.
     Lead through evolution.
     Advance education.
     Pursue excellence.
     Catalyze impact.
     Grow hope.
     And if we do all of this well, perhaps Jack would simply say, “Just swell!”
